Does anyone have the exact Trojan article? I am doubting myself if only because i think i may have failed to distinguish the author’s tone from that of the other philosopher and his work. I really did not get a sense of doubt from the author at all though.

@ jlewis what about the number of problems we omit? it doesn’t count toward our raw score? then why was this other person telling me that raw score =67-omit-(wrong x 1.25)?

Here’s the link to the trojan passage:
[In search of the Trojan War - Google Books](<a href=“In Search of the Trojan War - Michael Wood - Google Books”>In Search of the Trojan War - Michael Wood - Google Books)

what was the answer to the last one about the mother/daughter
the last sentence implies that rose?
rose understood her daughters something
or the daughter decided not to do the story

@Overrated

That’s the formula you can use to calculate the raw score. Omits don’t count towards your raw score, meaning if you omit a problem your raw score does NOT increase by 1. You cannot omit every problem and get a 67 raw score. The only thing omitting does is prevent you from losing an ADDITIONAL .25 (so 1.25 lost total for a wrong answer).

I don’t know it’s still a tough question. The author barely has an opinion he just seems like a plain narrator with no real opinion.

@lukereed there was only 1 question for the mother/daughter passage

okay i get it…

so should we omit problems or guess if we don’t know?

wait did anyone get a cr about how humans perceive differently than dogs cus dogs use their sense of smell and humans use their eyes to believe or something along those lines. was that experimental?

^experimental.

@overrated

Guess if you can eliminate two or three answers

“the whole discussion about the nature of writing”

Was this the question where the critic was like “My writing is thinking” and the choice was E?

what were the other choices in the erroneous and circumspect answer for the vocab?

I specifically remember a question about whether Rose either understood something about her daughter or that the story she requested probably never happened.

I have a question

Funding of radio short passage
-harming the function of america’s democracy or something.

Is this answer certain??
I thought the answer was something about journalists.
Did anyone else put that as an answer??

Also,

movie critic
-for question with 2 people, she wasn’t the only one that preferred less ornate writing

wasn’t there an answer choice about how she was inspired by them?

did anyone put that one as an answer??

Lastly,

Rewilding
-Most important concern about rewilding raised in P2 - that the proxy species could irreversibly impact the native species and their ecological system?

does anyone remember other answer choices for this one?
was there one about how the proxy species would not adapt to the new place?

Thank you!
