I would like to challenge the “some celebrate events are not verified”. I don’t remember the other choices, but I remember canceling that one out. The passage never talked about other celebrated events besides the Trojan war that were not verified.

You can assume that this consolidated list is the result of 150 pages of argument and thus credible to some degree.

iforgot, what do you expect the curve to be like?

Add “expressing oneself focuses ideas” to the list please.

^which question was that?

^^^ Rewilding is inevitable not undesirable, although the passage created a “portrait” that seemed undesirable, none of the words used by the author clearly stated that the image described by the author was undesirable, however the phrase “…will surely include…” clearly demonstrates that the author sees his description of the future as inevitable.

I am sooooooo relieved. What would -6 be?
I think I miss like six

Having reread the article, I think it’s very clear that the author was arguing that it didn’t occur…I admit I put “Probably did occur, because there is no evidence to the contrary” ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY BECAUSE OF THE LAST PARAGRAPH. But now that I reread the last paragraph, he wasn’t arguing for it. He was conceding a minor possibility that it could be possible. This plus all of his arguments in the preceding paragraphs points to probably did not occur.

Quoted form the passage:
“As you connect your thoughts-as you try to make them coherent by the simple method of fixing your sentences, making the words flow, correcting imprecisions-an argument emerges”
I remember one question asked what does this line suggest, and i put down a choice that said “thoughts come into focus when one tries to express oneself”.

^

Yeah, I remember that question. I put the same answer.

OHHH, yeah I remember putting that answer as well

I do not think a consensus has been reached regarding the “emphatic-balanced” question.

Definitely emphatic, if the question was asking for passage 1’s tone, which I thought it was. Apparently there was mass dyslexia yesterday. Even if balanced was passage 2’s tone, would that really work? Balanced tone? I suppose… …

It’s emphatic. Holy ****.

wait… hold on. Was it “emphatic” or “triumphant”? Or are they two different questions?

I remember seeing triumphant and circling that first before rereading the question and seeing “passage 2” before changing to balanced.

triumphant was another answer choice for that question yes

Alright, if you can help me answer two questions:

Triumphant was (A), and balanced was like (E), right?

Are you sure it was referring to passage 1?

i really don’t remember…i just remember at the time i definitely thought it was asking for passage 1’s tone

Triumphant and emphatic were not answer choices in the same question

Do you remember which question triumphant was in?
