I’m just going by what previous posts said…

oh thank god
im not delusional
<3 u guys

the question was stated: PASSAGE 2, IN CONTRAST OR UNLIKE PASSAGE ONE, IS CHARACTERIZED AS

bork you are right it was about PBS

the sentence completion question with the answer ‘enimity’ was the one about friends right?? there were two blanks

and the answer for one with belligerence is decorum??

coupdefoudre, one of them was about PBS being funded by the government. The first one gave points on how it was wrong and impinged on our rights. the second one was like PBS would be dead w/o it, though it started from nothing and is successful now.

I remember I put P1 was giving points and P2 was balanced or something like that. Two of the answer choices were similar so be careful of your wording.

why was it “suggest disagreement over work?”

I said it was not fully appreciated.

Also, isn’t it “virtually no one” and not “discerning”?

I agree with seminole

@Bork: Oh, thanks. Well, I’ve no idea what the exact wording of the question was, but as far as I remember, I put emphatic because p1 was emphatic about not funding PBS.

^ mabsjenbu123

It was discerning… the passage said that only people who don’t like being told how to respond from a fraudulent movie would disagree.

Well the question I got was… What was the tone for passage one in comparison to passage two? so. stop yelling … T.T

For the PBS, did someone put that passage 1 was stating points to develop its argument and passage 2 was bringing conflicting answerrs? or something like that.

it was not “no one had objectively viewed her work”, it was “there was disagreement of her work”

the author mentions “detractors”

Okay, let’s get the answers down for
- emphatic _____________________
- p1 makes points and p2 is balanced/conflicting (something like that)

That’s what I got panapia

@papapia yes i got that as well

^I agree with bork.

i think the answer was P1 was giving points and P2 was giving conflicting views.

because P2 said “PBS can now function without function” and the next sentence was “however, artsy people believe PBS cannot function without funding”

^confirm?

im 100% sure the question was referring to the “balanced” question

I also agree that P1 was giving points and P2 was giving conflicting answers

ok what were other answers to the “disagreement over her work” question? I know it was the last question and that that choice was either (A) or (B). I hope I didn’t put under appreciated, if that was a choice
