papappia. You are wrong about the exagerration. The passage was saying that you wouldnt want a government running a newspaper. There is nothing that is an exagerration about this. TV media and Newspaper are similar concepts-since both relay information. An exagerration would be like " oh you wouldnt want to government censoring all information". the author was making an analogy to the newspaper.

Wasn’t the analogy question actually in regards to the jumping rope passage?

“I learned how to fly…like a car,…like basketball players…”

kbbm24, I thought it was an antidote cause he said that when hes angry or sad he goes to the road and he becomes happy. So essentially it “cures” his sadness.

ali, what did you get for the final question of the passage about the movie critic?

where the choices were like objective, not appreciated till after death, disagreement over her work etc.

@Snoopi: No, the answer choice for that was “comparison,” not “analogy.”

i agree with antidote, the passage made the guy seem poisoned by his own misery so the sense that its healing him makes perfect sense. can we agree that the trojan passage (with 23, NOT 24 questions) was experimental. all real passages for CR are either 20 or 24 questions

Woojaekeem: I got disagreement. This makes sense especially considering that it was previously stated critics would attack her relentlessly or something along those lines.

That question’s answer was something along the lines of “comparisons”.

I just want to make sure …
was there a sentence completion question with answer choice eminence??
i believe there was one with enmity …
i feel like i skipped one and didn’t realize …

@Shami: There was, but the correct answer for that was “decorum.” There was one with enmity about the friends that had an awkward “reconciliation” attempt because of the intense “enmity.”

a stimulant is something you use to make you happier. The David Canaan guy seemed like he neededthe log cabin place or else he would burst from his anger. I put antidote.

and for the gov PBS one, isn’t figurative language plausible too?

um, so guys, which was the experimental section?
was it the 8 vocab then a long passage on NONFICTION and FICTION comparisons?

oh, i remember now. haha, analogy wasn’t actually an option for that one

Anybody remember a sc questions about the title of book and it asked about it? was that experimental?

@coupdefoudre
thank you so much!!!
and the one with answer decorum was about politeness … and something right??

was there a non-experimental reading section about disneyland? did i miss one?

whichever was the torjan/homer/trecheleyes one. When a CR section that is 25 minutes long does not contain 24 questions it is a dead giveaway that it will not be counted. makes no sense from college board’s perspective not to tack on another question

ah i see. You guys are right. Exaggeration is wrong. ****…

book title = not experimental , disneyland = experimental (i didn’t have it, at least)

@Shami: Yup, I think so. I vaguely remember something about an author and her characters that were always exceedingly polite?

The “poison” was his anger and sadness and emptiness. Stimulant is something used to speed something up. The antidote was the thing that cleared his head.
