October 2010 CR SAT Thread

That was not experimental because I had an experimental math section and that section.

thank God someone else didnt have a disneyland passage, i felt really unintelligent :(

I put (A) for all of the answers. I am going to pown you nubes!

@ bork: something about a comparison between a child with someone else’s toy, i remember putting happiness could only be attained when alone, but im unsure about that

o that passage with the guy who would go to the log cabin, what was the other multiple choice for that? i remember being confused about it. like they started comparing it to a little boy who would be alone with another kid’s toy for 1 day. so was it short-lived or was it that he could only experience happiness alone?

@flotsam, that’s what i put. i put he could only be happy when alone. the other plausible choice was that the happiness was short-lived.

This is false. Generally, the CR pattern is 24/24/19, but there have been slight variations, like today.

it was short-lived

so what was it?

so was the log-cabin man’s happiness short-lived or only attainable when he was alone?

alihaq, what did you get on the writing question that was

“people’s continuing emphasizing on” I put no error.

thats weird, i though they had to be 24 or 20… bummer though b/c i thought the trojan war passage was easily the hardest out of the batch

I said short-lived. The passage emphasized that he’d been doing this for thirty years - he continually had to go up to the log place to experience clarity from confusion, to relieve anger, etc.

wat is expected for
-6 and 3 blank?

I put short lived for that one because the of the comparison to the toy, which said that the toy didn’t belong to him, which implies that the toy would eventually be returned.

anybody else put when he was alone? i mean why wouldn’t the kid be happy playing with the toy with the owner of that toy? why does he have to keep it for one day to enjoy it?

average 690

around 690

I had a Math experimental (?! Two fill-ins in a row), and I had the Trojan CR section.

What is DH bro

@oblivion emphasizing should be emphasis…
