the default scenario WILL surely include all the things he mentions, but the entire point of the passage is to suggest that we can still veer away from this fated default scenario…which is how rewilding comes into play. if that gloomy scenario were truly unavoidable, what would be the point of the entire passage?

Was there a sentence completion question that had the word copiousness and something about a music library, or was it experimental?

two questions on SC

what was the decorum question?

What were the other answer choices for unremitting?

I put ‘misnomer’ for one SC completion question. Can anyone confirm?

And also, was the passage with the Russian political activist in the experimental?

consolidated list says

“homer works most reliable”

What was the question for this answer?

I also remember a SC question with misnomer as the answer

^ yeah, I remember misnomer too

@mabjenbu123, this was the one asking what thucidides most based his work on.

the two answers being debated are “homer” and “archaeology”

yes, i also put misnomer… the question regarding the
dry cleaner

Yes, I agree with misnomer. It was for the dry cleaning one, if anyone doesn’t remember it.

Yeah Misnomer.
I got that one too.

And ugh, so I asked my English Major mommy about probably or probably not on the trojan one.
She said probably not because of the implications of “plausible”. I looked up plausible in the dictionary though and it said “believable” or "credible. At this point I give up. ;-;

Misnomer here too. Because dry cleaning is really not dry cleaning… lol

I also agree with misnomer

can anyone tell me what the sentence with the elephants thriving was…(was it an easy one?.. because for some reason now i think i could have missed it lol)

A few things: does anyone remember what the other options for these were:
-retiring…penchant
-eclectic
-unremitting
-permeate… thanks.
Also, @Harambee and @Sensei- that must have been an experimental
The decorum question was an SC talking about some girls’ behavior. The only possible answers were ebullient and decorum, but decorum makes more sense.
And yes, misnomer is the correct answer.

I also said misnomer

Are you sure ebullient and decorum were the same SC? I remember putting both of them…

And thriving was one of the first questions. The other blank was like harsh or something? Idk

Can someone please confirm if “LESS ORNATE” and “WAS NOT UNIQUE” were the same answer??? I chose “was not unique” but do not remember it containing "less ornate…

Anyone remember an answer with “nominative” for the extinction passage?

@ Vandys

permeate was the one about the fish smell in the air
unremitting was the one about the girl who trained unceasingly and unremittingly but still lost the game because of her teammates
retiring/penchant - don’t remember the entire sentence but something about a journalist who had a retiring attitude but her writing showed a penchant for publicity and controversy

can anyone explain why one of the answers for the SC was “illicit.” i seriously don’t remember seeing that on the test… possibly experimental?

Yep, I’m sure. Oh you’re right- it was about some animals living in a harsh climate… (I think?)
