<p>How does it make sense? Where in the passage is there evidence? There is clear evidence for “They did not view her objectively”</p>

<p>@zsefvbjil3, the sentence was something along the lines of “even though the estranged friends tried to reconcile, their underlying enmity proved to be too big to overcome” or something like that, you get the gist of it.</p>

I think I had an experimental about a girl watching the sunrise on her tenth birthday and reflecting how, in the past, her siblings told her that the veterans parade was in celebration of her birthday, but there is also another experimental about some African-American band. :</p>
