Really? I though that one was NAACP… oh no

i put NAACP as well for that one Weny. Also for the battle of gettysburg question, no one confirmed that yet. Was the answer crossing the mason-dixon?

Yes, I also put the NAACP, but I must have not noticed the women’s suffrage answer.

Yes, into Pennsylvania.

All right. Actually i don’t remember the suffrage choice either. What about the art question- that shocked the art fair, some choices were pop art, etc, i picked social realism

I eliminated a few choices, then guessed “The inclusion of the _______ ________ school.” I don’t remember what it was. It was quite possibly incorrect.

it was the Hudson River School, I believe. Could be right, I have no idea on this one.

Looking into the Hudson River School, it seems wholly uncontroversial. However, social realism could be the answer.

What book did you guys use to study? I used Crash Course and it helped me a lot O_O

I just took an official practice test the day before and got a 750. The summer of 2009, I took two dual enrollment college courses in American History (Discovery-Reconstruction and Reconstruction-Present) with the American Pageant book.

You’re right! That is what I put, I just had a hard time remembering.
I also concur with the answer regarding the carpetbaggers, and small business owners not liking the advertisement.

Wait, how many questions in total were there again?

There were 90 questions.

Ha, a moderator edited my post and changed the title from “US History - October 2010” to “October 2010 US History”.

…omg, do you remember what the last question was? x.x

I thought I ended at 80-something on my scantron O_O

Well, the last four (?) were on a page opposite the beginning of the Math I test. The last question? I can’t remember.

Gah, I crammed late into the night. I can’t even remember if the page with the last question on it was before the math section because I was so tired -_-

You don’t remember if it was on the left or right side of the book? Well, I suppose you just need to hope for the best. Maybe someone else can remember the last question.

Sorry, someone asked me the question about poli patronage and 1913 Armory Show on page 3.

I used Wikipedia when I got home to look them up, so take it for what its worth.

1913 Armory show was Cubists I think. I think Wiki said they had some nudity in their artwork, or that is what the controversy was.

Poli Patronage on wiki made it sound like financial support, and I think there was answer like that, though I put “consistent political support” or whatever the choice like that was.

Still think I did very well on this

Edit: Oh and what was the silent spring question about? I don’t really remember that…

I think wildandyoung was probably right. Social realism appeared in literature around the 1880s. I guess that was the same in art. To quote Wiki:
"Cubism and modern European art was introduced into the United States at the now legendary 1913 Armory Show in New York City, which then traveled to Chicago. In the Armory show Jacques Villon exhibited seven important and large drypoints, his brother Marcel Duchamp shocked the American public with his painting Nude Descending a Staircase, No. 2 (1912) and Georges Braque, Pablo Picasso, Fernand L
