October 2011- Biology E/M

I have like 3 omit, 8-10 wrong ■■■.

4 omit, 4 wrong, bringing my raw score to a 71… anyone know what this is as a scaled score?

missed 3, omitted 0 :). Hoping for 780+ but seriously, I definitely suggest taking AP Bio before taking this joint

1 wrong, 0 omitted. Anyone have any predictions for the curve?

There was a question with a cladogram diagram that does not seem to appear in the compiled list. Anyone remember this question? It asked for which organisms were closest related?

It was the two on the top right…Par__something, and Par_Something they had the same genus and different species

Was the answer for the ear question ‘A’?

Yeah what Zaza said about the closest related thing.

Also I put A for the ear randomly guessing but I’m pretty sure I got that wrong

According to list on 5, answer is the one with basilar membrane, no idea which option that is.

yeh, that was A. I remember because I narrowed the answer down to A or E which made me laugh (inside joke). Of course, I went with E :(

I narrowed it down to A and C I think. C was the frequency of the vibrations? Well I chose C. This really was a educated guess question. I didn’t study ears at all.

are you sure the basilar membrane was A and not E? how many answers had the word basilar in it? i couldve sworn E did.

I’m fairly positive that choice A was basilar membrane. I remember it being near the top of the choices.

Basilar was A, 100%. That question was gross. And the ones about the warm’s nervous system too.
But wait, when do you guys study Animals & Plants? In my country, those topics are covered in 6th grade so you can imagine what I remember…

@spookie123

For me (I haven’t taken AP Biology) these topics were never covered in class, my course had more of an emphasis on molecular biology and cell processes. I studied extra topics using books. I skipped the question about the basilar membrane as I never reviewed that though :(

What’s the score for ~6 wrong?

about 760-770 I think and A was definitely basilar. E said low pitches cause the cochlea to vibrate faster.

I will take that =) I felt this test was so much easier than the May 2011 test…got a 670 on that x_X

Looks like we all did pretty well. hopefully something above a 700 will make my day when results are in~

taking physics and math 2 in december and i can finally stop standarized testing ^.^

any predictions on the curve?
