what was the double absolute value question? was it none? and wat is the period one? and how bout hte p=n question. i got all odd

NspiredOne
the absolute value one was number of solutions to abs(3x-2)=-abs(x+21), which has no solution since left side is positive and right side is negative (well, technically, left is non-neg and right is non-pos, but since they can’t both be zero for the same value of x, it doesn’t matter)

can someone tell me the formula for the 500,000 reduces 18% in 20 years, i forgot it and i was mad about that

Collegebound-

the equation for the longest diagonal of a recangular solid is

d=(l^2 + w^2 + h^2)^(1/2)

We’re given the diagonal of one face. The diagonal makes a right triangle with the diagonal as the hypotenuse, so (85^(1/2))^2= l^2 + w^2

substitute that into the first equation and the height is 3 so h=3…

d=((85^(1/2))^2 + 3^2)^(1/2)
d=(85+9)^(1/2)
d= root(94)=9.7

what was the equation with the equidistant?

^i did too, took way too much time imo to realize it because i was used to it being increasing, not decreasing.
1-.18= .82
500k * .82^20

What was the answer to the mean, median salary one? Spent a good two minutes pondering over it

UGH that population decreasing one screwed me over -____-

wait…are we allowed to discuss this?

i got the mean increases?

Ok great, that’s what I put.

Gahh I was going to put zero for the absolute graph one but I skipped it cause it seemed too easy!

Counting one with 5 letters (VWXYZ) followed by 5 numbers from set {0,1,2,3,…9}:
5! * 10!/5!

^answer choice C or D?

i put mean increases

okay what about the graph with the y intercept at 2 1/f(x)? i think it was a e^x function graph and the graph i picked was the graph that curved down?

ahua852
sorry: no idea if it was (C) or (D), but some of the other answer choices I think were something like:
5! * 10!/5
5!/4! * 10!/5!
5!-10!/5
5!+10!/5!

SatTooEasy-
I chose some random exponential function with a y-int of 2, say (2*(3^x)), graphed 1/that and I think I chose A. Not sure whether that’s what you mean by “curved down.”

Hiking-
Thanks, all I remember for that one is that I originally picked C then changed my mind to D. Don’t remember how/why.

sat too easy, i think thats what i put

SAT too easy i think that was A right? if you looked at the 0,0 part it shoudla been like 0,.5

I put A for the graph one

anyone remember which number the abs value one was?
