@tedjones wouldnt it be 2048 or something because (64^2)/2 = 2048? that’s the way I looked at it

dfree, i guessed that one because it looked right. lets hope its right.

sorry, i think i did put .50 higher. hard to remember all of the questions! I had the violin and foxes passages, and guessed on the dot triangle question

@collegebound, haha I guessed 2048 too, my friend explained it to me after we took it. When he told me how to do it I kicked myself for not knowing how to do it earlier…

so far none of these questions were on my test:(

Was 2048 J? The second last answer choice by any choice?

Violin was the hardest of the 4 reading passages. RARGH, I hate Science.

thug, it was.

I thought the violin passage was hard too…her teacher was gauging her interest when he asked her if she would be willing to practice more right? or was he just joking?

gauging interest. Kit foxes was straightforward. Favorite was writer passage–kind of compelling, actually. Mangroves was awesome too. Curve’s gonna be harsh–this one was easier than the ones in the red book.

I thought that the answer was: “making her intrigued…” I do not think the answer was the one with the Joking part, because it really didn’t fit into the context of the overall theme. I could be wrong, but what do you guys think in regards to this question?

@elevit2, I said gauging her interest

@thuglyfe and @elevit I put gauging her intrest too, the joke answer was put in because the girl laughed, but it wasn’t like a happy, joking laugh… at least I think so. Also, I thought the passage about the chinese writer was the most difficult, the mangroves were really easy except I ran out of time and guessed about how many pounds of CO2 the mangroves had.

I got H for the T64 one. There were three answers in the 2000s, it was the first of those numbers.

What was the answer to the question with the circle, and then there was a 60 degree angle in it?

I put in 10, and I think 15 was an answer choice too. Don’t remember

English: Easy
Math: Medium
Reading: Hard
Science: Medium

DrDre, why? how?

I put gauging for the violin, and got 2,048 or whatever for the math thing. So far from what we’ve discussed, it seems like I put down the same answers as a lot of you. Hope they’re all right. My favorite passage, personally, was the Mangrove one. Didn’t have much trouble with it at all.

2014???
Yes!

was the ellipse question like c,d or e? i put one if those :/

The formula to solve for any x value on the T64 question was f(x) = .5(x^2) + .5x.

I put the values given in my list 1 and list 2 on my calculator and did a quadratic regression. Plug in 64 for x, and you get 2080.
