Is anyone who is a senior going to cancel the SAT oct and retake?
like maybe the nov or dec? which is better nov or dec? if i also want to take subject test?

@Golden College

I’m a senior and I just retook the SAT for the second time this october. I also signed up this november to retake my math II for atleast 750+. If I don’t get a 2100+ then I’m retaking hte SAT I December.

^I retook hoping for an 800 CR, but now I’m not sure if I even got a 760 (previous CR score)…

But…meh. In retrospect, retaking so many times for futile improvement is probably not the best allocation of time. (Especially when we should be working on those app essays!)

Do the scores come out on Oct 20, 2 AM or Oct 21?

To my knowledge, scores will be out on the 20th.

Awesome. 2 AM October 20. >D I’ll be up all night.

Heh! I’ll just wake up earlier instead. Sleep is crucial haha. : )

CR: harder (coming from 700)
W: easy-medium (coming from 730)
M: medium (coming from 800)

CR - medium/easy 2/5
Math - medium/hard 4/5
Writing - medium/easy 2/5

where 5 is a really hard test and 1 is a really easy test.

you’re all going to be getting the sat back in about 2 weeks or a little more! seriously relax haha!

gosh some ccers are so pretentious… you can be smart and not brag about it :)

Yes, but two weeks isn’t short enough… at all. I’m thinking one week would about TORTURE us. Two weeks is just… two much. (; That was a horrible pun.

I don’t think the SAT has much to do with being “smart,” but then again the very definition of smart can be argued.

Two add my two cents on the curve:
CR: medium (maybe on the hard side, but the easy vocab + difficult questions balance out)
W: easy (maybe on the medium side because of diction question, but that was … one.)
M: medium (not too easy, but threw in maybe one or two difficult questions? Maybe on the easy side)

I thought that the CR section was medium in difficulty; the vocab. was fun, but there were some questions with vague answers. :(

The math was the hardest section to me; the two circles question, the sequences, sweaters, and the cylinders without holes killed me.

The writing section was easy for me; the one with corroborate/collaborate was easy for me because a practice test I took in the past used that same trick on me.

Can we be friends? lol
