October 2011 SAT International Writing

What did you guys think of the essay? What examples did you use?

I didn't think it was too hard.

You CAN’T talk about it today.
Wait for a few hours or tomorrow.

I think we can talk now.
I kinda liked the essay prompt. I used examples of Anne Frank , Harry potter , and Isaac newton .

^I agree with you! When I read the prompt, it was really easy to brainstorm examples. To be honest, I don’t think I could have hoped for an easier prompt.

I think the writing was ridiculously easy. finished the 10 min section in 5 mins. Propmt was also too easy.

Prompt was about criticism right?

Is the phrase “on the beginning of the trip, Teressa…” wrong ? i put no error because i frequently saw on the beginning and it was correct

“on” is not used wrt time ,A is ans

Uhhh… oh well. I was very much gonna put it A, too bad. Also what about 29? “…, if her were there.” I put it as no error too. What do u think ?

i dont remember the question, but i didnot mark 29 as E

It was talking about Hamlet xD

i still dont remember

The 2nd to last question at section 10 was weird, with the only sensible answer ending with “as many” or something.

^ Yeah was a pretty direct answer, used that too

took some time on the area/perimeter question with the different rectangles in it. Anyone remember their answer?

I ended up omitting it because the "as many " at the end made it weird… :/

Criticism. And I prattled on abolitionism and Copernicus and the Church.
Maybe Chinese Cultural Revolution would be more pertinent.

^^38 as far as i remember

You guys remember the Hamlet question? Something about “warned to not go outside the bedroom…if he were something something.” Anybody else answer that as E?

I put it E :)

Wait… the second last writing question was the option with “as many” at the end of it?!
