October 2012 SAT scores 'not yet available'

my scores showed up; however last time I took the test (in june), my scores were delayed three weeks… no idea why though.

Does this happen every administration, or is this abnormal for October 2012?

@DaveMerc

When you called the CB Customer Service, you’re connected to a playback of a recording first, right? Then you should’ve pressed 3 for ‘Score reports’ (I forgot the exact wordings), and then either 1 (Get Scores) or 3 (Verify Score Reports) right?

^ Oh, I see what you’re saying. I chose Get Scores.

Hello everyone, I’m an international student living in China and it still says “not yet available” :/

Does it say “not yet available” to you guys as well? If you click “not yet available” button, it says ‘You will see a message instructing you to check back at a later date.
Please come back to the site on the recommended date—usually about a week later—to check again for your scores and to see your full score report.’

But I cannot say any instructions or recommended date :frowning:
everyone else from my school received his/her score, I’m the only one who hasn’t… we all took at the same test center, this is so awkward. Also, some guys from other school haven’t received their scores yet.

I have to send my score asap for my EA… Also, I registered November test when i was registering the October test just in case I receive unsatisfactory score on the Oct test. But if the result doesn’t come out until the Nov test, I don’t know whether i should take it or just cancel it >:(

I should’ve registered Dec exam, not the Nov exam :(

@20021ys. Yes, this is the message I’m getting http://i.imgur.com/80jKl.png</a>
You should definitely call them on this number: (212) 713-7789.

There are many reasons for why a score could be delayed (In my case they told me it’s due to “significant score increase”.) Trying to guess why the it is will drive you insane. Just call them and have your SAT October registration number number ready for when they ask for it.

I just got my score.
My score was under investigation due to score increase and they wrote an email apologizing to me

@Osakaben. Wow, that was fast. My score is delayed for the same reason, but they told me they’ll release it in 3 to 4 weeks. Did you ask them to prioritize your status or something? And what was the score difference?

@Osakaben

Wow, that’s fast. Congratulations! Did they tell you the reason for delaying before you got your scores? How much was the score increase?
Thanks!

@DaveMerc
Thank you for your reply, I’ll definitely call them on next week. I can’t be connected to them during the weekend :(

@Osakaben

Wow, congratulation!

What if I lost my registration number:-(
How can I confirm the reason of the delay
I’m from china btw

Did anyone else get an email about making up SAT’s?

@teanhuey: Then call and tell them you lost it.

@daheeza: I didn’t. That’s a bit strange. Did they tell you the reason for this?

@DaveMerc
Thanks a lot:)
I’m sooooo anxious about it

so did most of you guys have received the scores yet??

i still haven’t gotten mine :frowning: has anyone who didn’t have any messages or anything get theirs? all i can see in my collegeboard account are my old past scores and there is nothing about the october tests!

Is there anyone else reading this thread who took an October test in the United States and is still in the Not Yet Available category? If so, has the College Board given you any explanation or information?

I’m one of those guys whose October scores are still in the Not Yet Available category. And no, they didn’t give me an exact explanation, and stated that my ‘file’ was clean. I’m trying to make them speak up though. Anyone else?

john9811: Aren’t you one of the many international test takers? Although frustrating, I guess one could imagine that many international site tests arrived later at the College Board than tests mailed from within the US. It appears from this thread that they are backlogged in test processing, and that these scores are being sent out in the following days as they work through the (possibly later arriving) international paperwork. That would make sense if all students from one center are delayed.

I do not have an answer why one student among others taking the test at the same site would be the only one without a score, unless they had to hand score one particular test sheet, for random reasons like perhaps one got bent and wouldn’t go through their scanning machine?

I am asking if there are other Not Yet Available students who took took the test in the US on Oct 6 and still do not have a score.

PS: Just realized that they do work on Sunday too from this email I received on 10:30 A.M. EST.
