Since, the question discussion thread was becoming quite lengthy, I felt there should be a second thread devoted solely to score discussion.
10 more days let's go!

I’m with you, Rishab! Waiting to see if I met my score that I wanted

Hoping to bump up my CR from 720 to at least 740+, otherwise I’m happy with my math and writing at 770 and 760. Last time I’ll take it. Writing still might’ve gone up though. I would be really chuffed at a 2300 but that would mean I went up 50 points… not sure!

I just want a 2200. I feel math and writing were very close to 800 and reading was like high 600s.

really hope I got that 750+ in CR. Already happy with math and writing at 760 and 800.

Hoping for 2200 also.
Good Luck!

Btw, is there an early way to find the SAT scores (ie. glitch)?

How many could one get wrong in CR to get a 750+ this time around?

How much for 1 mistake in math?
Is there any chance it can be an 800?

@nebico if the international sat math curve is similar to tht of march -1 is 760
and if u are asking about the U.S.A. sat math curve i don’t now it ; however , u can check this site [SAT Score Calculator - The College Panda](SAT Score Calculator - The College Panda) it will help u to guess ur score

What is -5, 8 essay?

@cusser 001 ur
best case :- 680

In May, my son got a 760 M, 740 CR, and a 670 W mainly because he got a 6 (yes a 6) on his essay. He’s always been a very slow writer and had an incomplete essay 2 paragraphs long with 1 example and no conclusion. He only got 1 wrong on the multiple choice section.

Hoping that 5 months of working on his writing speed paid off. He did report that he finished the essay with 3 diverse supporting examples and a conclusion and filled both pages. Hope that’s good enough to break into the 700’s. Too bad he couldn’t just have an essay do-over instead of retaking the whole thing.

The number one factor that determines your essay score is length. If he filled up the 2 pages he got a 10-12.

I had a 2220 superscore (800cr, 700m, 720w) I’m hoping to increase by at least 80 points because I want 2300+. I felt good about everything, so I’m hopeful.

For the essay, I filled up both pages completely(went to the last line), with three different examples, an intro and a conclusion. Does this guarantee double digits?
I got an 8 and a 9 on the two previous essays, only using two examples and filling up like 1 and a third pages.

^As long as you stuck to your main claim and didn’t contradict what you said, then you definitely got at least a 10. Once you fill up the 2 pages, it ultimately depends on the graders to give you those 11-12.

It’s not always the case that filling up the 2 pages will get you a score of ten or more.I heard at least 10 people who got 8 or even 6 after they did fill the 2 pages.Still,I managed to filled up the 2 pages and I just wish a 1.

sorry it’s 10 not 1.

What do you guys think I’ll get on my essay? I really need an 11-12. I used up every single line, I had 5 paragraphs, 3 solid examples (2 from literary works 1 contemporary), and I feel like I used strong-ish academic diction.

I’m wondering what i’ll get as well?

I only wrote 3 paragraphs on two pages. The body paragraph was long and very developed. I used 2 examples from 1 literary work and had pretty good vocabulary in it. And the whole thing was pretty well-structured.

I filled up 1 3/4ths of the 2 pages. Will the fact that I did only 3 paragraphs kill my score?

I’m the same with you @TheBjng2. Last couple times i took the sat I did the same thing and i got 11 and 10. I HOPE THIS TIME IT WORKS OUT
