October 2014 ACT discussion thread

what is the id for October act?

Once again, this method has not worked for me and I do not think it will work. That ID is personal to your account. Refer to steps 1-4, replacing June with October. The id is shown at the end of the url right after “regId=”

Mine still says registered… sadly -NY (With writing)…

mine says tested, and has said it for the past 2 days. However, the method @Reichtangle didnt work for me, I just get “transaction incomplete” or something like that :(. Is there any other way to get scores early

Tested - AZ - No writing

Any New Yorker’s whose page says tested?

No ways to get them early, you’ll have to wait. The glitch was from a while ago, and I suspect that it has been fixed by the ACT. I will post here if I get it to work.

I swear if I get a 32 for the 4th time in a row…

Sigh mine says registered

@Jellybae From which state?

Hi. Took the Act (w/writing) for the first time in October. Not seeing what you’re all talking about with regards to status (registered, tested, etc.). Where should I be looking? Thanks for any help.

IN ORDER TO SEE IF YOU ARE REGISTERED OR TESTED LOGIN TO ACTSTUDENT.ORG THEN ON THE PAGE YOU ARE TAKEN TWO CLICK ON “YOUR TEST DATES AND SCORES” THEN FIND THE OCTOBER TEST AND LOOK UNDER THE STATUS FOR “REGISTERED” OR “TESTED” WITH THE LATTER ONE BEING THE ONE THAT WILL BE LOADED AT MIDNIGHT

Thanks.

Here’s the info again on possibly getting your score report early. It just keeps bringing up a report with the words NULL for scores. But we are still in Registered mode.
Login to your act account.
View the ticket from your October test date. Look in the web address window at the top for a regid#, it will be 8 digits
Go back to your account
Click View scores from a previous test
enter your password again
When you are viewing old scores paste the following in the web address window of your browser:
javascript:displayWindow(‘actibeCTsdScoresPrt.jsp?pdf.x=1®Id=XXXXXXXX’,800,800)
replace XXXXXXXX with the regid # from above (make sure you still have javascript: at the beginning)
hit the right arrow button (enter worked for me too)
You will get a pdf of test scores downloaded.

Florida. NO Writing. Tested!! Hopefully they will be there by midnight.

Btw, scores don’t come out at midnight. If it says tested, they will come out tomorrow at 7 am est. If it doesn’t, (which was the case for everyone a day before during the September act), scores will likely come out later in the day (they were out for most people by 2 pm for September)

I got my scores about 2-3 hours ago from my college (I am a freshmen if that has any bearing, I doubt it though).

WorkSAT2014, why do you say that? In September, ACT made an error so it’s not clear when they intended to have scores come out although you are right that they converted to “tested” before they came out. I believe that scores have come out in the middle of the night or at 8 a.m. CST (which is 9 a.m. EST). But I doubt 7 a.m. is accurate because that would mean they were posted at 6 a.m. CST (and ACT is in the central time zone). I’m not sure there is a consistent practice although I think they will come out at 1 a.m. CST because ACT has already released them to the colleges. They are clearly ready to release them. Just need to set their clock for the time!

GuysSs, try to chill!!! Either we’re getting our scores tonight (early morning) or in the coming days. Don’t stress over something that’s already done. Instead, go do something fun like sleep because that’s what I’m doing lol.

But anyways, I know you guys did great on the ACT!!! :+)

Btw, congrats on those who already got accepted to some colleges!!! You guys should be be throwing a fiesta!
