October 2014 ACT discussion thread

My status changed to tested. Anyways, I like the ACT better than the College Board. ACT seems to have better interaction on its Facebook group and on Twitter while College Board seems to work behind close doors.

One more thing: Can someone send me the link where ACT said they are releasing the scores at 8 AM CST?

Am I alone in thinking everyone talking about “staying up” is odd? Maybe I just have a messed up sleep schedule X_X

tbh, I’ve stayed up the last two times till like 3 AM and I never got my scores. But when I wake up the next day, I get my scores.

@An1100345 Yeah, it’s probably best to get some sleep. I never thought about counting down the days til I receive my scores until I came here on this forum. Now that I think about, like @AnotherPSEOKid said, it’s odd to stay up for ACT scores.

SO NERVOUS. PANDA RUINED ANY HOPE I HAD FOR THE SCIENCE :/

I would probably end up having nightmares of me getting a super low score if I don’t figure out what it is.

I hope I didn’t confuse anyone - I meant that “staying up until midnight” is what I normally do so it seems odd to me that everyone is considering it as staying up :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve been having nightmares about the act for the past 3 weeks lol

@katll222‌ You’re not the only one! All the best!

@AnotherPSEOKid‌ I school starts at 8:20 and I wake up at 7:45, so even if I slept at 3, I would still have 4:45 hours of sleep which is not that bad. I have to finish a History and Economics Internal Assessment and a Extended Essay today so good bye sleep,

Mine saids “Tested” in Arizona.

@thebingbong‌ OMG I FEEL YOU. ISN’T IB LIFE? (SHE SAID SARCASTICALLY)

@thebingbong you are misunderstanding me - I am trying to say that I find it weird that “staying up until midnight” is what I normally do but everyone in this thread is considering it as staying up

I know some people’s said registered, but does it really matter whether it says tested or registered. I really have no idea. Does having it tested mean that ACT has received and graded your test and now just waiting for the release time to release.

tested in NY

@AnotherPSEOKid‌ I didn’t. I just forgot to be a “I know right” thing in the beginning. I thought you were replying to my previous comment.

I CANT EVEN DO MY AP CHEM HW IM SO NERVOUS!

I’ve heard that “Tested” means your scores have been loaded on to the server. Either way, mine still says Registered.

T-minus 1 hr and 60 seconds

Am I the only one refreshing this thread like every minute? Lol
