@irlandaise, first of All, Friday is three days away…
Also, are you a junior? Because if so, then you don’t have the same problem… I’ve applied ED and EA to multiple schools, and I NEED them to have this ACT score… So yeah, it is a pretty big deal

@jamesjunkers - lol well first of all, I’m currently in Australia, so it is two days away here. But I’ve changed my post to reflect that it’s still Tuesday back home in ACT timezone. Secondly, I am a senior. Sure, it is really frustrating to not have scores for EA/ED apps, but you knew going in that it was very possible to not have these scores in time. No one made you any promise otherwise, so I think we can all stop acting so indignant that ACT isn’t delivering, because that’s not the case.

There were plenty of test dates before this, and you took the risk in taking this. It’ll probably pay off, everything will probably be fine. But lots of things could have come up - cheating incident, irregularities, delay in mailing - and that’s life.

@irlandaise,
Youre right. I’m just frustrated. Sorry

For those of you who checked your scores early in the morning, some writing scores are posted, so check your scores again!
I got a 10 and am really happy with it! Definitely happy with since I got an 8 the first time.

Are they only uploading writing scores once a week

@TotallyTrudy

How much did you write?

I wrote 2 and a half pages, intro, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and used big words/lots of transitions and my examples were solid… u think ill get at least a 10?

@DAIMYO
i think you will. i believe the ACT cares more about length

Got a 29 AGAIN This was my fourth time taking it, and as a senior, I was hoping this would be my last. but I hate to send these scores off to schools (Grinnell, Carleton, Kenyon…) with such a big gap in between the sub sections:

C 29
E 32
M 25
R 33
S 25

My superscore is a 31.

I was hoping for a 31, but I’ve been so busy with my extracurriculars and school work that I was unable to study for this one. Does anyone think it’s worth it to spend the extra money to take it in December? I would have to apply before I would recieve my scores back in order to be considered for scholarships, but do you think sending in my scores from December would help at all?

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG MY COMPOSITE IS ONLY A 31 BUT IG TO A 12 ON THE ESSAY HOLY CRAP I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW HOW AN ACT ESSAY WORKS OR LOOKS LIKE

@mango2015
i would retake

by the way if I got a 12 then you guys have NOTHING to worry about because i never got higher than a 10 on my SAT essays and I seriously bsed this so hard like what even was that topic

has anyone changed from Registered to Tested today?

So the people who got their writing score, do you already have the official report?
Is there any way I can know how was the curve, how many “right answers” I missed for a higher score?

@ovacech, act score report does not tell you that. Only SAT

What is a problem with this?

We’re sorry. We know you are anxious to see your scores, but they cannot be viewed at this time.
We have received and processed your answer sheet, but there are still some quality assurance steps to complete before your scores can be reported. This includes resolving situations such as incomplete test form information on the answer sheet or test administration questions.
We will add scores each week as these situations are resolved, usually each Wednesday and Friday. Our goal is to report all scores within 8 weeks after the test date.ACT will notify you by email when your score report is ready.

The problem is that while my son’s ED school accepts an October ACT, by their own website, 8 weeks is AFTER they release admissions decisions. That is the problem.

@RRRHHH where did you get that from…did act email you that?

no it is on the act website
When I just clicked view scores and typed my password, the score did not come up, but only those strange statement showed up :(

So you showed Tested, but that came up…UGH!!! Well, Maybe, your score increased by a good amount and they are rechecking everything to validate that its a “real” vs…error on their part…I heard that SAT does that if you have a big increase…so Maybe it will be a good thing…Have you taken the test previously?
