***OCTOBER 2015 ACT DISCUSSION THREAD***

collegeconfidential is a way to demotivate you honestly… but the demotivation will motivate you to work harder… so once you become successful you can then demotivate others to motive yourself to do better because your demotivation will then boost your ego.

^pretty much what CC is

Math-Pretty easy, but I was too slow. I ran out of time with 4 questions left. :confused:
English-Okay, I think. Not very difficult.
Science-I was fine until I got to the last part about light in a glass or something. I didn’t know what I was even reading at that point. Guessed on last 3
Reading-That was too much. I felt like my head was about to explode, but I managed to finish on time and I think I did alright.
It seemed way easier than any SAT I’ve taken. Just to be clear, I did 0 prep for this. Literally none.

AM I the only one who got 69c??

IMO, The English was kinda awkward, and kinda hard. The math was rather easy. The reading was rather challenging and the science was downright BRUTAL.

@16jpatel I think I did get a bunch of c’s and the math was hard :frowning:

Ok that makes me feel better. I agree the math harder than it normally is.

Any predictions for reading curve? So far it seems like reading was harder than usual. Any chance 2 wrong would be a 35?

@chev 18

where did you take the test? in the US? Did you get extra time? no one else had that test that i know of. Most had 75A and a few had some other random forms.

@marsha.ss I took it internationally. AND NOPE! I had no extra time, my invigilator used a digital countdown timer so we had the exact amount of time. ALSO, MY PAPER DIDN’T HAVE A DOUBLE PASSAGE.

anyone with the form 68E

I got 75A

English: no idea. Neither hard nor easy. I had to guess on 2 because I didn’t understand the words.
Math: pretty easy. Had 15 min left. But did question 59 wrong…
Reading: easier than in September. But was stressed on the last passage and reading generally is my weakness
Science: had 10 min left. had to guess on a few question where background knowledge was necessary

If scores don’t come out until Nov 10. How would I know if I should register for the next test or jow

@CR7yolo
Yup…i had the form 68E

@letmeseetheworld I know what you mean. I don’t want to take the December test unless I have too… And I won’t know if I have to until at least 4 days after the registration deadline :frowning:

Reading was SUPER easy imo. so was English. Finished both with about 9 mins left.
Math was…I guess we’ll see… Science was easy except for the conflicting viewpoints passage. I had 5 minutes left when I started that :confused:
My score predictions:
BEST (33 composite)
English: 36
Reading: 36
Math: 29
Science: 29
MIDDLE (32 composite)
English: 35
Reading: 36
Math: 28
Science: 27
WORST (31 composite) (Same as june and september test)
English: 35
Reading: 36
Math: 27
Science: 27

@Qwerty258 how was the test?

@Qwerty258 Can you predict the scale for the test?

Just for clarification, is this the same test that will be offered in December?

Do you guys think they’ll screw up October’s test scores like they did September’s?

How do you get your answer sheet back, along with the test booklet and correct answers?
