Same here… I’ve never prayed so much before in my life.
How do colleges usually look at ACT scores?
I’ve heard many things. I’ve heard that they take the median of scores, that they look at all of them including test dates, details, etc., that they only look at the highest, and that they only look at the ones you send in.
Which one is true? Is it different for different colleges?

My d is a junior, takes her first practice test over the course of two days, times each section, scores a 36, lots of time leftover to check her work. repeats process, gets a 35.
Says she’s guessing a lot on writing, reads Meltser act book, writing score immediately falls to a 27, overall now a 32. Takes whole test in one sitting, doesn’t have time to check two sections, falls to 28. Studies for a week, takes test still a 28. Studies for two weeks, week before test gets a 35.
Takes real test, says she knew the answer to every question but didn’t have time to check some sections. Here’s my prediction:
M: 32
S: 35
R: 33
w: 32
Great. I’m so glad to hear this. This is cool and I care at least a tiny bit.
I don’t want to come off as a hater, but posting predictions especially when scores are coming out soon are pointless.
Again, I’m not saying this in a rude demeanor.

Praying I hit a 30 or can at least superscore to get that 30+. I think my reading dropped to mid 20s, and my science increased… hopefully. Praying for that 30+. At a 29 now.
