NOBODY REMEMBERS THIS SCIENCE QUESTION? YEA CONFLICTING VIEW POINTS
@sharks1939 @AcceptableName @TheFutureDoc16
I live in hawaii and we have a state assessment called the HSA.
And one of the science sections from the HSA was on this ACT, I couldn’t remember the answers because it had been 2 years and I bombed it I think.
It was the last passage about light going through a vacuum, kinda disapointed with ACT because any junior this year in Hawaii should remember the passage.
The light going through a vacuum asking about the viewpoints? Like if it changed?
yeah
The answer was that the speed of light did not change for any of the 3 viewpoints so it was neither. Only the velocity of something else changed
@applicantcor lol I don’t even remember what the last question on the conflicting viewpoints passage was.
@applicantcor I can’t really remember the science section. Plus, I’m trying not to get jailed again.
I didnt understand it because I only had 2 minutes, but I was talking to mi amigos afterwards and it was certainly on my state assessment
I’m gonna force myself to get off and do some US history stuff
The last question asked which student said that the speed of light changed, at least that’s what I remember
God. Please get me a 30. I’m a senior and this was my last chance. I hope so strongly that I get a 30.
@zeppelins I’ve been told it was student 2 because he said it could go higher or lower
@applicantcor LOL bro I don’t remember that now. But what does it matter anyway? Its not like you can change it if you were wrong.
@applicantcor LOL bro I don’t remember that now. But what does it matter anyway? Its not like you can change it if you were wrong. All we can do now is play COD until midnight.
@AcceptableName Sigh…if i got that question wrong…
@applicantcor why do you think that -2 will prevent you from getting a 32?
@applicantcor well,common sense… the speed of light is a constant and it will never change. however, in the passages, the students spoke about the velocity of something else? i don’t remember exactly WHAT it was, but it definitely wasn’t the speed of light
@zeppelins Well, it’s not based on common sense- most of what the students say is completely wrong… One of the students said that some quality of the light can increase or decrease when it leaves the prism. The thing that could increase or decrease was part of the formula for velocity so the student believed velocity can change. At least that’s the explanation i was given
@Kraz4CocoPuffs idk i’m kinda hoping that -2 is 34 but one can only dream
tbh is there reason to debate the answers now
