omg so i just logged into my ACT account and i screamed cause i thought my score came out but it was september L O L g o od byE
I was hoping I was wrong when I guessed trig because I suck at it. well, not that bad but compared to everything else its pretty bad. I go to a small school with a bunch of retards so but when I have to tutor people i trig it makes me feel retarded trying to explain it.
I’m a Senior also and I run out of time in every exam that I had taken. So, Maybe it’s because Engish isn’t my first language. Anyway, good luck for everybody.

@DaPueo if you’re not that great at trig and you still have extra time to sit for the SAT, I’d strongly recommend that you do - SAT has no trig at all and focuses on logic or simple concepts. If you’re EA/ED/aren’t confident that you can camp down and study in the upcoming weeks, just stick with whatever you get on this ACT and polish other aspects of your app

I drew the unit circle
then I decided sin(x) must just mean SOH, so the .4 is opposite/hypotenuse
then I made my triangle so the hypotenuse was always 1 (which is every time since it’s the radius anyways) and the y value always .4
then I guess you can use the pythagorean theorem to solve for the other side (x) and then you can figure out the angle based on where I drew the triangle…?

@polarknut Family of seven with a disabled parent and a income of 20K, I do a lot of EC’s and I have to work so I tuor at school, do yardwork and work at a restaurant so I dont have time to study.
