***OCTOBER 2015 ACT DISCUSSION THREAD***

I got a 23 on the writing with 30 comp, last time i got a 30 comp with 26 writing. I talked about allen iverson on this october test, guessing the reader wasnt a big AI fan.

Allen iverson is a basketball player if you’re wondering

@kdurkee24 what schools are you trying to go to? (And good choice for not considering U of Missouri lol)

Lol with all the craziness going on at Mizzou right now I want to go as far away as possible! I have visited Auburn, Clemson, and the University of Tennessee (Auburn being my dream school). I am also going to visit the University of Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State. I plan to apply to all six schools.

I got 34 composite on my ACT(34 English 34 Math 33 Reading 35 Science), I am almost certain I messed up my writing portion. Should I retake?

Just received my ACT scores today: 35E, 35R, 35M, 36S, 36W, 35C. I’m currently a sophomore, and I’m wondering if I should be looking to retake the test junior/senior year to get the 36 composite score. In other words, will the 36 make a large difference for admissions to highly selective schools compared to the 35?

Well the time for posting scores today was 8am central. And guess what? NOTHING! Still says registered? And, ACT as usual.

I’m :frowning:

Well here are my scores from June to October:
Comp: 30
English: 27
Math: 35
Reading: 29
Science: 29

Comp: 32
English: 34
Math: 31 :frowning:
Reading: 30
Science: 34

As you can see after I got my scores in June I studied English and science a lot and improved them both. Reading is tough for me, so I was happy with a 30 the second time. Math though! I didn’t study it too much because I thought I was fine and I really dropped the ball. I’m a math person and I’m sad, especially since my comp is 32.25 and my super score is 33.25 ;( but hey if anyone needs help with anything let me know! Good job everyone!

Congratulations!!! Jordie12345

I got a 25 in writing in September and I thought I wrote a better essay for this test but I guess not…23…how are they grading this…ugh

I got a 26 in writing, but a 36 in English and a 34 in reading.
What is considered a good score? Do these scores even matter at all??

Did you just get your writing scores today?

@kdurkee24 Good luck getting into Auburn- that is where I plan on attending!

Just got my official PDF score report. 24 on writing, but that is 88th percentile. Isn’t a 24 a bit low to be higher than 88% of students?

Did any of you get scores posted today?! If so, what was your status last night… Still says registered … Very frustrating!!

35 Superscored  34 English 36 Math 35 Reading 34 Science. - 5 from a perfect I believe.
