**October 2015 International SAT**

What was the answer of the 29th question of writing, @Synonyms?

@DeadShot What was question 29?

@Synonyms it was something about mushrooms. Mushrooms are thought as having. Option D was such minerals as. I was confused between A and D.

@DeadShot Oh, it was D. In a previous comment of mine: “Such minerals as by itself wasn’t wrong, per se (a quick search on google can tell you that). It’s just that the phrase as it was violated the parallel structure. The whole phrase was “[…] both noun and such minerals as […]”. The both noun and noun was violated, so D was still wrong even though such noun as is usually acceptable!”
If anyone can show me that “both noun and such noun as” is acceptable though, feel free to do so.

I now think savor can be correct because command sounds a bit harsh to me but I am not sure. Savor sounds a bit better.

@Synonyms lol I chose D too for the same reason. A lot of my friends were saying A though. Let’s hope D is right.

I’m praying right now. I’m sure that Homucifer-sama won’t let me die so painfully.

What was the answer for what is bitter medicine and mini treats in the advertisement passage? Choices were dull and …, bland and …, unpleasant enjoyable.

Also what were the answers for american farmer question other than misleading, denies?

Again, what was the answer to question for oral interview passage something? I said analogy.

Hey, the math question in the last section (the one with 16 q), question 6 was: like if x+y=110, what is z? The answer is 125, but which answer choice was that? D or E? I think I might have bubbled the wrong answer by mistake :confused:

are you sure about z? i put 55 i think

yes im pretty sure, x=y and x+y=110 --> x and y = 55 respectively
z = 180-55

Hey guys!

Do you remember the answer for the Math questions about the complaints in June and the question about the car depreciation?

I also had 5 no errors

@Starior Unpleasant and enjoyable.
What oral interview passage? Would you mind elaborating?
@braziliandevil 1/2 for June. v(d) = d(0.9)^t for car depreciation.
@ypmagic Oh come on, don’t cancel it. There’s always score choice, you know. And next time, the writing curve probably won’t be as lenient as this one. There’s always the chance that I’m wrong, anyway.

What are the curves ??

@ypmagic Thank Homucifer-sama I didn’t blow it.
So your chosen schools don’t allow score choice, then. What a shame. The writing curve is so deliciously beautiful in this test… Oh well, it’s your choice.
Oh and, for the confusing questions, you should scratch out the parts of the choices that make you eliminate it as an answer. And the thesaurus dictionary is your best friend. Look for synonyms of the choices’ key words in the passage. If you can’t find any of them, chances are, those choices are not the right ones. The tactic works WONDERS for me, especially for questions that ask for the tones of the passages. Don’t stress out too much. Stress tends to kill people’s brains.
And… that’s it. That’s all I’ve got. I hope that you’ll reach your goal next time.

Guys DOES ANYONE KNOW THE CURVE?

Writing: 3 mistakes and 8 essay
Math: 2 mistakes
Reading: 15 mistakes (because fml)

does somebody remember about the question that showed a numbered line and says if K is on the left side and K ^2 was on the right side, then k^3 will be.

I put to the left of K because K was on the negative side on the numbered line but I dont remember if K was before -1 or after -1

Also, did someone got a slope of 1,it was a math question that showed a line and a parabole and asked about the slope when two points met.
