did anyone get personal/resonate for the sentence completion on the author who managed to sell a lot of copies of her book despite being _____?
I got the same as you for both of your questions! @catepillargiraf
Was the one about evolution, cyanobacteria, and oxygen an experimental section???
Maybe facilitate was part of the sentence and not a fill in the blank question, lol idrk
@catepillargiraf Well I put bold reassessment because that seemed like the purpose in the context of the passage.
But, it could very well be dispel a misperception. Americans misperceived Zen as something that didn’t pay attention close attention to detail, but in fact the author makes the point that it did.
The more I’m thinking about it, the more the answer seems like dispel a perception. Dispel a perception seems to be the primary purpose, whereas bold reassessment may have been a secondary, implied purpose.
That screwed me then thought that since it was the last question it had to be the hardest
In other words, was the microscope lab for sure a real section? Bc I also had the cyanobacteria oxygen one and screw up on that one.
Anyone remember the math question with a circle of a central angle of 50 told to solve for like p
Aren’t we not allowed to discuss specific questions?
@PartyNextDoor
@Pmadamba
@IneffableMind
Thanks!
btw I put “eager to be part of consensus” but not sure
why is it “attention-grabbing pronouncement?”
@Ks1178 Oh I put defend+facilitate…
I think I put something about pursue
@supercalif a pundit (as used in the sentence) is someone who is often called on to give an opinion, so they have to give these attention grabber ones so i presume that’s why it’s attention-grabbing, esp since they didn’t want to be part of the consensus. the consensus was against them since everyone uses the internet now but them.
i think i got 80 as an answer? it was like inside a rhombus and it was 50, 90 and then it would be 40. and 40 x 2 = 80 anyone else get something like this?
well. I think it might be defend + facilitate (escape) … escape is part of the sentence
@y0I0Isen thanks!
“There is never any point in time at which you are allowed to discuss exam content unless it is released as part of a College Board service…”
I believe you all should stop.
I also think it’s dispel a misconception … since it’s first hard to say “bold” … secondly… it says zen in japan is ACTUALLY… so it seems like a misconception
What were the other choices to the misconception question
hey guys i know this is a dumb question but for my essay, I didn’t really mention young people but i just said “people”. will my essay get a lower score for not really talking about “young people” but only “people”? I misread the prompt and by then it was too late! please help im really anxious
but it says zen in japan, not zen as a whole concept. i thought it was a reassessment or reevaluation. idk… tbh critical reading was hard this month
