@jeepgirl Okay I found the article on a blog for prep scholar when I searched “when are ACT scores updated for students online”. It wouldn’t allow me to put the link here for some reason.
@jeepgirl My S’s scores still aren’t there and we are about to do the same thing for December. The week before the test they moved his location and I suspect that is an issue. Sigh.
To everyone else: on what screen will my S know if his scores are posted? After he logs in there is a page that says “Ready to Register?” and “Tested Before?”. On the left is the normal set of links including “Your Test Dates and Scores”. When I click that link it says “You have no test dates to view.” Is this all normal? Thanks.
Kind of answered my own question. Based upon what I read here on CC, I decided to call ACT. Sure enough, there was something wrong with my S’s account. They will be merging the accounts (?) and we should be able to see his scores within 24 hours. Thank you CC people!
Essay scores are out too. I did very well in composite score but got a 9 in essay :(. I thought I wrote a good essay. Does anyone know how much does essay count?
@chucko as far as I’m concerned, they aren’t really weighed as heavily as the actual composite score (and for some schools, the sub scores). Most schools don’t require the writing portion anyway, and a 9 isn’t all that bad! You’re fine to me 
On an unrelated note, did anyone here change their test type on the test day? I switched to writing on the test day…though now I realize I didn’t actually have too LOL facepalmmmm Either way, I dont have my writing scores yet. Has anyone who successfully changed their test type received their writing score yet? They haven’t billed me yet, I’m getting antsy. Really need my scores to get to some of my colleges by the scholarship/app deadline
is anyone who did not receive scores Tuesday showing tested yet? daughter did not receive and still does not show tested which probably means that she wont get scores tomorrow?
I got an email saying my score report was ready but there it’s not available on the website yet; is anyone having that problem?
No luck yet on our end. Still showing registered - a couple of folks in her testing room got their scores with the first batch.

D19 just got hers. Not what we were hoping for, lets hope she does better next time.
I got my score. I got a 30! Only went up one point, but this puts me in the next bracket up for scholarships. Still waiting on my writing score though which I have a feeling is gonna be rough…
Never mind just got my writing score as well!
Her councilor called ACT HQ and was told that the scoring is completely random…even within the same testing location. So, it is not unlikely to have someone in the testing room get their scores while others in the same room are waiting for theirs. We are done with the waiting…will register for the Dec test and decide what to do about that test date once the Oct scores are released. Next batch release is on 11/22 starting at midnight through 8AMCST.
my daughter got hers today. She went down 2 composite points but went up 1 point superscored.
Live in Maryland test was taken in D.C. Received score this morning when I check around 10 a.m. Went up significantly in science. Math remained the same, but composite and superscore both went up so now hit my goal range. Good luck to you all!
