yea i just did it again from the info and i got 6y + 5x = whatever

^yup yup
their were only like two at the end that got me a little twisted up but overall i thought it was pretty easy

I thought it didn’t count the ceiling…i put 584

I’m pretty sure it did count the ceiling.

it was 130(2)+117(2)+90(2)=674

it was 674, because they wanted to know all 6 sides. They said the ceiling, floor and the 4 sides. They said ignore windows and doors, which would make it harder to calculate it.

i didn’t have time to finish - -||||, because of english. eh, english is my second language, and i think today’s math questions are most word problems? the questions are too wordy!!! my god, gonna do bad on math T-----T

Wasn’t it 6x+5y = 24 or something?

I just remember there only being one option with 6x +5y, and I don’t think it was set equal to 30 (which wouldn’t matter for the perpendicular line).

yea, i picked D 6x+5y=24

Yea it was whatever was 6x + 5y since you needed a slope of -6/5 so subtracting the 5y over and dividing by -5 was the only option that had a -6/5 slope.

so what’s the square root of 1…

1 is the sqrt of 1

oh goodie
looks like I did quite well on the math section this time (missed that stupid graph about the kw oh well that was the only one I wasn’t completely sure about)

and I also happened to get a 4% change in the kw question
unless I did indeed read it wrong, I’m pretty sure it asked for the overall new rates versus the old rates

anyways think about it and it would make since for a company to raise their price 4%, not 57% =/

but unless it DID ask for the change in MONTHLY price
I’m screwed

I don’t think it would make sense if it asked for change in anything but the monthly fee without the charge per kwh because then the percentage increase of the total price would depend on the number of kilowatt hours used. The more kilowatt hours the less the percent increase.

The percent change in monthly fee was 57%. (11-7)/7 = .57akdfjlafkd

agreed with llpitch, is that the question are answering 4% with?

uhm wow i thought there were 6 fans so i divided 360 by 6. how lame.

did anyone else get 6 fans? (i’m hoping maybe there were two different versions)

and also, about the kWh equation question. i’m almost positive it asked for x > 1500, which means you dont have to account for the first/second rate. it is only the 2nd rate, making the equation 11 + .062(x). I can be wrong though, i was really out of it for this test.

and for the law of cosines question, wasnt it possible to solve without using the law of cosines? i remember using other stuff and getting an answer.

and the scattered points/smallest angle… i think i put 3/sqrt(58).
anyone else?

i got “c” for the 3/ sq root wahtever

or was it 7/ sq root?

i remember one was A, one was C, and i corrected it to C i’m prettysure thats right

the equation for kw i dont think it was the one wantivy mentioned but one of the other ones because it asked for an equation for all KW>1500 for the new equation so it would be 11+ .067x the other one didn’t make sense since it specified for the NEW EQUATION.

Does anyone remember a question about the 50 miles per hour and I think, how he got there in 20 minutes or something…?
