October 6 SAT math

i had that stupid question about some juniors/seniors ratio - to what?
i did not even have time to finish reading it

was the answer to the question more than 4 choice E? about if the circumference is 5pi or something how many squares can fit?

Wait... it was asking how many SQUARES could fit?
I thought it asked how many circles could fit?

Does anyone know what the very last math one was? the 3 equations one?

it asked about circles and i put 1

CAMPERS. What was the answer? 5/6 can swim 1/3 can climb. 200 and 80. LEAST number that can do both? I put 80 at first, but thats the max....so I put 20, the smallest answer....is that right?

The three equation, I got z is 2.

LesOs is right it was how many circles not squares.

IB- I got 12

mike10003, I got 40

i had how many circles with the center in P - don't remember the squares,
ther was the square 3x3 reflected into y=-x.

The juniors seniors thing was like:

25 out of 150 Juniors are in the band. The same percent of seniors are in the band. The senior class has 120 people. How many people in the senior class are in the band?

Then you just had to divide 25 by 150 and get 0.16 repeating and then the choices were something like

A. 16
B. 20
C. 24
D. 25.
E. 30? (Not sure)

The easiest way if you didn't wanna think was just sub in numbers, 16 is obviously too low, start with 20 and bam you get 1.6 repeating. Therefore 20 seniors are in the marching band.

I had four math sections, I hope one of the first two were experimental, I left like 4 blank on each >_<. Does anyone know what my score might be assuming one of htose is omitted?

for the one where y>2 and xy=x+y and they gave choices supposed to represent the range of x's that would work, none of them worked out for me, so I just left it blank. I plugged in so much stuff, but I just couldn't ever get xy=x+y except when y=3 and x=1.5, but just plain old 1.5 wasn't a choice.

the campers one i got 40... i think its wrong
the 3 equations took a long time but you end up with z=2

Darn it, I think I missed that one then :( Aw well, I that was the only one I wasn't really sure about.

I didn't get that square one, I'm kinda ****ed cuz I know that one definitely isn't expiremental AFAIK.

Did everyone have the section with the popcorn boxes vs the soft drink where you had to determine how many popcorn boxes sold the best in a certain month?

My free response:
1/5
1.25
145
4
256
4000
6
2
63
13.5

I got forty, too.
I assumed that the 1/6 who couldn't swim were all enrolled in the class... and and since 1/3 of the campers were in the class, half of those people couldn't swim. 1/3 of 240 = 80, and 1/2 of 80 = 40.

the last one about z i got 2 i think -it was 1, 2 and 3 in the equations?

which one was the simulataneous eq one? the very last question I think.

i think i wrote the wrong letter!! AHH
