October 6 SAT sentence comp

i am almost sure its historians…chronicle

legitimize is a far cry whereas historians who dealt with botany inadvertantly chronicled biological stuff

anyone remember the sentence?

Was halcyon from the SC?

yeah it was halcyon…and i thought it was legitimize/ amateur

there’s no way it could be chronicle…because the blank was right before “the academic field” and chronicling an academic field makes no sense.

Although the women in the 1880’s who illustrated botanical gardens were primarily __, they helped to the academic field.

it was actually although the women in the 1880’s who illustrated botanical gardens were primarily __-, the helped to it as an academic field. But that wouldnt change the answer…lol its still amateur/ legitimize

wait, there is a argument about the amateur legitimize question? It has to be amateur legitmize. was it in the front or the back? those words seem kind of easy, but i remember it fit perfectly.

yeah, amateur and legitimize fit perfectly. and it was only like the third question in the sequence, or somethng. i think you guys are overthinking it.

you’re right andre a

but i feel sad :(…cause, crazy as it may sound, i always miss easy SCs… always thinking that the answer should be somewhat more complicated

does anyone remember a question on one of the later sc’s that was about a writer and a novel and something about the conflicts between the Cuban gov’t and something? two blanks… one option was “‘dramatize’…the conflict between…”
sorry it’s all quite fuzzy.

hmm. did you have an exp cr?

i got the estelle passage so cr was probably exp. but i don’t remember if the Cuban SC was from the same section…

i think it was. i dont remember that.

omgg this is really nagging at me now lol i REALLY cant remember what the servile question was about…does anyone remember any of the choices or like what passage was in that section? thanks

lol i had that question too… i think it was something about like some guy in the office that did everything for other people and i think one of the other answer choices was melancholy. was it experimental section? im not sure.

no that was real. it involved a guy named peter.

there is no way it could have been historians/chronicle, because it started with although.

yeah, i think it was definitely amateurs/legitimize.

i remember putting chronicle as a answer. But i remmeber putting amateur and legitimize. The servile one was like Peter does everything for everyone, always submissive

Chronicle was a passage based answer (African-American photography, “chart”). Amateur/legitimize was SC.

oh you good memory person you… i remember that. I also put substantial or osmething like that for a complete the sentence question? I thnk..
