October ACT for ED1

I took the ACT's today (second time) and was completely not focused, ran out of time and am pretty sure I did a lot worse than my previous testing (scored a 30)

Can I take the Oct 22 ACT's for GW ED1? I know the application deadline is Nov 10 and often the scores aren't reported until early December. If I can't, does anyone have any advice about what I should do? I have a 1980 on the SAT's, but I feel like I can't improve that as much as I can the ACT's. My GPA will be about a 3.8 with a moderately high class rank (about top 10-15%), great extracurriculars, stellar recommendations, and a very good interview as well as two visits ("demonstrated interest"). I also plan on having two very good essays, both I have already gotten edited and have been working quite hard on. Should I bother with the Oct SAT's, wait until ED2 so that I can raise my ACT score?

Thanks

Also, should I cancel this score? I know that GW only looks at the highest, but could my low score possibly hurt me?

i think you’ll be fine with a 1980/30 ED and 3.8 + interview and 2 visits. Don’t cancel it. You never know.

I just want to be absolutely sure I will get in. I was consistently scoring 34-36 on all of my practice ACT’s, and I think I could at least raise the 30 to a 32.

sorry for the bump, but anyone else have advice?

My advice is to stick with the 30- it’s very good and well within range. As far as canceling the new score, IDK, only you can decide. Really, relax- you’ll get in.
