What did you guys put for what was similar to angle 1??

Angle 6; one of the lines were shared and the others were parallel.

I put 6 as well.

I was going to go with one of the other’s, but a few of the intersections weren’t even labeled as 90 degree angles… so I ended up going with angle 6 because of the parallel line.

I put angle 6 as well

Were the last two answers e and j, respectively?

DIDNT EVEN FINISH!!! So mad right now. I got to like 47 and she calls for 5 minutes so I had to get on like 13. I felt confident about my other 45 or so answers. I would have gotten them right too is what makes me more upset :/

There was a lot of trig there at the end, and most of the last questions would take forever to be solved so you had to “ballpark”.

what did you guys put for the rhombus one? I put 24

I’m good at trig since it’s fresh on my mind. I think my biggest flaw is relying on the calculator way too much. I want to finish the first 30 questions in 20 minutes not instead of 30 and use the rest of the time for 30-60. I should not be spending over half my time on prealg…December here I come I guess.

what about the area of the triangle in the other 2 parallelograms?

Also, the combinations one?

Also was root 17 the answer like twice?

Were the last two e and j, respectively? Someone answer!

@ketann: What were those I forgot

The one with the two parallelograms was gross.

I got the cylinder one wrong… it asked for the surface area and I couldn’t think of the formula. Formula for the side is 2pi(r)(h)… I think I got half of that (630 instead of 1260).

Alright… so that question with 25 students who took 10 tests… did anyone else get the average being 1/3 of a point higher once the two extra tests were added?

@Nspire yes for 1/3 higher

And I did too.

curious because I really couldn’t finish this test in time

was ANYONE able to do all 60 questions with ample time, not having to ballpark an answer or guess?

I just don’t see how…September act I was able to get to the last 5 and then make educated guesses but this time I had about 10 of those really mad.

@Nspire: But wasn’t it asking about the surface area needed for the label only? In which case it should only be 2pi*rh, yielding about 630, which is what I put. I hope I’m right, for both of our sake.

cjjw, no, I was freakin out for time at the end… and I got a 36 in June on the math.

Hopefully the curve is generous.

yeah really I got a 35 in math last time this time ill be lucky to break 30…
doesn’t really seem fair or standardized at all
September act was half the difficulty of this one
