Do people go home for this? (October 14-15 this year) Trying to book flights in advance if necessary. Thanks!

It’s only a 4-day weekend. A lot of students will stay on campus. The residence halls don’t close (they do for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break).

A lot of freshmen do. I didn’t realize that this past year, and it felt like Peabody campus was somewhat of a ghost town. I definitely wasn’t the only person left, but Commons’ dining hall closed, Rand’s has weird hours (and nothing past brunch on Weekends), and there wasn’t any entertainment at night.

I think upperclassmen are more prone to stay and catch up on homework/sleep/whatever, but it’s a good excuse for freshmen to go home–for some people, it’s the first chance they have to go back since move-in.

if youre a freshman guy and rushing, youll go somewhere with a fraternity that break
