Trying to figure out the curve for the October SAT, now that score reports are out.

Post your CR score and raw score.

Me: 720 58 Raw score (7 wrong)

800 , 65 Correct & 2 Wrong

740, 61 correct 6 wrong

760, 5 wrong, 0 omit

670 10 wrong 1 omit

800, 1 wrong

So right now:

800
800
800
760
740
720

780 4 wrong, 0 omit

690: 9 wrong, 0 omitted

700 : 8 wrong 0 omitted

-7(or -9 raw)= 720…this is like the nicest curve in the history of SAT’s…http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf
it went 800 800 800 800 790 770 760 740 730 720 700

With MamaBear’s data, yea this is confirmed to be the most generous curve they’ve ever given…did they loosen up their standards after verbal fell to a record low or something? Because the test was not that hard…

Just want to say, nostalgic, that there is no such thing as a ‘nice’ curve. Curves are based on the difficulty of the test and are meant to normalize that scores that students receive based on their performance.

800
800
800
800
790
780
760
740
730
720
700
690

Edit: I know what the curve is. I’m just saying it’s incredibly lenient.

-9 incorrect, 0 omit. I got a 690.

The CR wasn’t hard in my opinion, but the October CR curve is historically really generous…

Same :/

A classmate said he omitted 3 (no wrong) and got 800… not sure if he is completely reliable though.

Anyone have a closer estimate?

800, 65 correct 2 wrong

690, 57 correct, 6 wrong, (4 omitted)

630, 53 correct, 12 incorrect, 2 omitted

I suck at CR:(
