So the october sat scores came out today as you all know and as I was looking through my score report I became curious about the curve they implemented.
I got -4 for math, -3 for writing, and -10 for reading Yet my scores were 740 for math and 690 for reading and writing.
I went back online to look at the practice tests and what they gave u to score them and based on that ten points should’ve been taken off per question without the possibility of them adding a positive curve like getting one math question wrong and still getting 800.
I know not all tests are exactly the same but grading extra harshly and taking off more points than usual?? This was my first time actually taking the test so if anyone could provide an answer to this that’d be great.
