October SAT Curves

Anyone else feel like the Math and Critical Reading curves were pretty harsh? I only got 2 wrong on math and that got me a 740, whereas on practice tests (even the three used tests in the blue book) that meant a 7760-770. And on the reading got a 51 and that meant a 620 whereas on those practice tests that was close to a 700.

What are your guys' thoughts on this?

I got 10 wrong which is usually a 670 but wow CB went with the harshest curve I’ve found on the list of past sat curves. There has only been one or two time on that list where a 10 wrong was a 650.

Edit : this was for cr

760-770*
and i meant to say i got 53 and got 620 whereas on the practice tests thats a high 600s. (cr)

Yes. The curve was harsh because the test was easy and many people did really well. If it was harder, people wouldn’t have done as well, and therefore the curve wouldn’t have been as bad.

oh…well i guess i was one of the stupid ones that failed this section. but i felt it was so much harder… ahhhh :/

-8 in CR = 670
wowowowowo

It was definetly a harsh curve:(
Its all relative though as a harsh curve means the test was easy, whereas an easy cuve means the test was hard.
