Well, I did a mediocore to decent on my SAT II's scoring only a 730 in American History and a 700 in Biology. However, if I wanted to retake Biology in the fall, would it be possible though? I'd definately have to review, right; but the question therein is when? Should I start in August or September? I truly have no idea. Also, if I wanted to take a third SAT II like World History, do you think I could self study it over the summer. I took World History AP sophomore year, and didn't take the SAT II, which I'm pretty mad about. I currently have a Barrons SAT II for World History. Who else is taking SAT II's in the fall that have to be studied for? What are you guys doing? Any tips? Thanks.

I have ot study for Math II, Chem, and US History. I am going to start ASAP, as in within the next week because I want to be totally and completely prepared.

Ahhh... the Bio test. That was an interesting experience for me.

Freshman year I took honors biology. I gat an A in the class. A lot of the kids took the SAT II Bio in June of freshman year, but back them I didn't even know what the SAT II's were so I missed the deadline for signups.

Then sophomore year, I took honors chemistry. The teacher suggested we take the SAT II Chem in June, so everyone signed up. I being the stupidass I am, signed up for Chem AND Bio. Most other kids that didn't take it in 9th grade were waiting for after AP Bio if they were going to take the class junior year. Anyways, chem was fresh im my mind cuz I just took it, but a week before the test I realize I don't remember any biology!!! So I bought the Kaplan book and read through the whole thing, and also the freshman bio textbook all during the week before the test. Then the night before the test I take 2 practice tests, one for M and one for E. I get a 650 for M and 680 for E. lol.

I knew I was screwed and I took the test anyways. It seemed just a tad easier than the practice ones so I was expecting ~700. However when I get the scores back, I get a 780!?!?!?!

I guess miracles do happen. SAT's and SATII's involve a lot of luck believe it or not. If you have lucky socks, wear them. Same goes for lucky underwear or shoes or hat. If the proctor says no hat, then say F U Motha F'er and just wear your hat. Also, try bringing a lucky egg. It seems to work for those Jamaican gys in Cool Runnings.

Well, good luck and that's all I have to say.

Eugene's post was perhaps one of the most insightful things I've read on this board lol.

anyway... I'm retaking USH (720) in oct along with 2c and bio for first time. i started today. i think ill just go over as many review books/tests as possible.
