Alright, the details in basic note form

-I applied early action to eight schools, and regular decision to two schools (just to get those fools out of the way..they didn't have EA/Priority deadlines)

-Of those eight, pretty much all of them have a November 1st Application Deadline. Only outlier is UNC Chapel Hill, with that October 15th deadline

-I took the SAT in March and October of this year

-March one I got a 1990. I'm getting my October scores back on Thursday.

-I love that 1990, but I'd really love to see if I scored higher in October

-I know that schools generally look at your application stuff for early action sometime during November and get back to you in like December

-Right now, my plan is to send the best of my March/October scores on Thursday, hoping that they get to my schools on time for admissions consideration purposes

-It takes like 2-3 weeks for them to get my SAT scores if collegeboard sends them regularly right?

So my question is....do I need to rush my SAT scores to my schools? Like for Carolina, who might consider my app earlier because of their really early deadline?

I'm not worried about getting them to some of my schools (i.e. Indiana Bloomington, which does rolling and lets you know whether you're accepted in like two weeks from applying)

However, with my more selective schools that have that Nov 1st deadline, will my scores make it in by the time that they look at my app? Should I email them to let them know that my scores might come in "late"?

Thank you for your help!
