OCTOBER SAT Subject Test: Chemistry

I thought it was alright, although I was slightly pushed with time and ended up omitting six (two T/F).

How'd everyone else do?

i thought i did ok, i think i left three blank because i had almost no idea, and i was somewhat unsure of 5-10 of my answers. Are we allowed to discuss specific questions?

I thought it was fair.
Left 6 blank also.

i left 6 blank

I left 5 blank too; i thought this test was more time consuming than the blue book 1

^^ how did you guys do on the blue book chem test?

what about part a? i left a few blank too

i left 9 blank, ran out of timee :X should've studied more than just the night before lhkadsfolker

how is the curve on chem?

Here's what the PR chem book says about the curve
79=800
69=750
59=700
49=650

Holly cow, that's pretty generous...

i left 4 blank

yea, although chemistry test does have a lenient curve, i think it is possible that those PR curves are a little too generous, i really don't have anything to base this off though...

Well, eff that I skipped about 15 and guessed on the rest...

I got screwed....

I left 1 blank and may have gotten 2-3 wrong.

Actually I don't think the curve is that generous. In the blue book, you could only get 2 wrong and get an 800.

I took chem last year, the curve is very hash if shooting for an 800, but if shooting for 700+, it's very lenient. I got a 760, and it was like..83 percentile.

well, i've heard that you can get up to 9 wrong and still get an 800.

idont think it's 2 or 3...

california's done! representtt.. let's discuss!

it's like 2 or 3 wrong for 800. fyi.

well, i've heard that you can get up to 9 wrong and still get an 800.

idont think it's 2 or 3...

california's done! representtt.. let's discuss! /QUOTE

Isn't that for math? Well anyway, of course I'm hoping for a better curve, but its always good to be pessimistic because you're either right or you're surprised.

So what is the actual curve? I skipped left like 9 blank...is that enough for a 750+?
