I seem to remember reading somewhere that they copied the wrong table into the blue book for the chemistry section, and that the curve is quite a bit more generous than it says. Just my 2 cents.

I REALLY needed a 700 at least, but I did miserable. Anyone have any idea what a score would be with about 15 blank and maybe 5 wrong?

I believe the actual curve is probably around 3-4 wrong for 800.

I didn't leave any blank on this test, but I did wish I had more time. I had no time to check over my calculation problems, so I most likley missed 1-2 already. =/

Skipped none, and not sure, but I may have done 0-5 stupid mistakes

How many TTCEs did everyone get?

I don't remember the exact number but it was around 3 or 4.

i think i got 2...
but i skipped 2 questions in that part

I took the Chem SAT last May. I got at least -6 and got an 800.

The curve in the CB Blue Book is far harsher than the test I took...maybe that helps you guys!

yeah I got like 3 or 4 TTCE's

tell me if i'm anywhere near the ballpark:

i left 6 blank, and a max of 16 wrong (probably less, but let's round up just so i can be pleasantly surprised). That would leave me at a raw score of about 54.

According to sparknotes, that would give me a scaled score of about a 630??!!

are we allowed to discuss specific questions, if so what were people curious about

what causes global warming? i put sulfur

What were the choices for global warmning? My question is, which of the compounds listed decomposed most readily? o.O

Sparknotes has a TERRIBLE curve. I never scored higher than 680 on it, and got 800 on the real thing LOL

i think i put acetic acid for the one that decomposed readily.... idk. more context?

^ so hypothetically speaking, what do u think i'd get? if I missed effing sixteen?

Let me put it this way...I missed 29 questions on the last Sparknotes test I took and got a 600.

SO I think you probably have 700+

i think trying to predict our scores right now is sort of pointless because the curves generally vary a lot from test to test, year to year, month to month. i think it would be more productive to go over specific questions and what people got on each of them.

some people still have not taken the test

^true. i almost forgot
