OCTOBER SAT Subject Test: Math Level 2

Title says all.

I thought it was kind of hard...

Am I the only one who thought this was very hard?
I skipped so many questions....
Not enough time.. =(

Yeah, I ran out of time for the last 7 or so -- they were pretty hard looking also.

let's hope for a good curve. that test was HARD.

i used the barrons book and i still thought it was hard.

lets start the question-answer thread lol

anyone remember the answer for that square question

but the answers were somethin like
|x| + |y| = p
y = px y = -px

skipped it,...

i left 11 blank. oh dear..

The funny thing is everyone said Barron's is a lot harder so i got that book, studied from it, and got 800 on 2 tests and 750+ on the others so i was pretty confident

and then today i take the test which IMO was harder than barrons.. i left 2-3 blank but there were a bunch that i guessed on

i studied from barrons also. im so disappointed. i am confident about the ones i answered but if those are all right i hope the 11 i skipped amounts to a friendly 760 or something. *sigh

I skipped 7 and i know i missed 2. Im canceling.

For that question i put ''A''

it was lxl+lyl=p or something like that

yeah I thought it was a hard test, i'm in multivariable calc in HS right now so i haven't taken precalc in about 2 years... so I left 12 blank
how screwed am i?!
I'm using this score for my required math subject test for Cornell Human Ecology

you guys think the curve will be even more lenient than usual due to the difficulty of the test?
the barrons book did NOT help, i learned how to do a determinant of a matrix but on the test there was matrix SUBTRACTION, ***?

maybe I should cancel?

I think the curve will be like the 2nd Math II test in the blue book. Raw score of 43 or 42 for 800 and 38 for 750.

for me the first 20 were really easy, then all of a sudden they got harder and then i ran out of a lot of time....

the standard deviation/z score question? whatttt?

i think the curve will be really good. i wouldn't cancel it if i were you. you just never know (this is coming from someone who canceled a score and then discovered that half of her friends who also thought the test was impossible got amazing scores on it)

Yeah... so did I.
a lot of topics that the review book covered weren't even remotely mentioned!
there were problems that weren't remotely related to anything i knew
probably NOT good
left 12 blank ><

i didn't even LOOK at that question Crystal, I think the curve will be good too since everyone seems to think it was hard
yeah I got the blue book and hope that the curve will mirror the 2nd test's curve
maybe I'll get a 700+ if I'm lucky
i wish cornell didn't have the math requirement, i would just send my best scores
i think it's funny how i beat my friend on the SAT I math section yet she got an 800 on the Math II

the second blue book test was hard, but definitely easier than today's test.

i think -7 should be about today's curve. or maybe even more.

...seriously ***. That was really hard. I aced the blue book practice tests and left like 1 or 2 blank...I had to leave a lot blank on that one.

we're all in this together! woohooo!
