Will the October SAT results be available to send in time for Early Action? I plan on doing UMass Lowell and UMass Amherst for Early Action (might do others if I change my mind).

For most schools, yes. However just check the school’s policies on their website to make sure.

Pretty much yes all the way around the board.

Even if the result comes out the after the official application deadline, schools understand this and will consider the score once it has been sent to them.

But yeah, like Dane said, it never hurts to check on either the website or even calling the admissions office. Admissions offices are often a lot more friendly than you’d think ;)

You should always review the college sites to determine the issue. For UMass Amherst the deadline for submitting supporting materials for EA is Nov 20 and thus the Oct score will easily be in time. For Lowell, the EA application deadline is not even until Nov 25 and supporting materials do not need to in until Dec 9,which for it means it even accepts the Nov test

Oh wow, that’s all good to hear. I guess it would be a good idea to check the websites if I have any others. Thanks to all of you.
