*** someone hacked me

im retaking a 2110 - 720M 700V 690W...hoping to get them all up a little, most importantly math though as i want to apply to schools for negineering. Id prefer 780+ M, 740+ V, 720+ W. That i would be happy with

am I stupid for wanting to retake a 2260? (770M, 700V, 790 W) I just want the verbal up.

I would love to get your score. However if you are aiming for some competitive college then go ahead and retake. Good job

ivynut I think your SAT scores will more than suffice for the top scores. Depending on what major you want to apply in, taking an SAT another time when you total Score in ONE sitting is so high might be a risk... b/c if you are not 99% confident that you can score at least AS high as 2260, you shouldn't risk it. 140 points from perfect will be negligible compared to the sea of other academic indicators.

But still, if you are retaking it I wish you the best of luck.

I am hoping to raise my score from 1900-2200, so for all you people out there praying for a 300 point raise, I'm right there with you guys.

I'm retaking it for the 3rd and last time to try to get my 2120 (2nd sitting- 730 W, 710 M, 680 CR) to a 2200 or something along those lines. I'd be thrilled to break that.

While I'd like to improve in everything, at the very least I'd like my CR over a 700 (and hopefully higher), get the writing to at least a 750 if not higher and finally get that stupid 12 essay (730, 11 essay both times, 73 PSAT...the number is taunting me lol).

Now to just force myself to practice... ugh.

Taking for the third time. Have 740 math, 700 CR, but only 620 (10 essay) on writing. Need to practice those grammar questions!

i will be taking it for the 2nd time and im hoping to go from 1800 to 2000 but i would be fine with a 1900 or higher

I'll be taking it a second time. I need to raise a 1980 (750 CR 520 M 710 W). I made a 30 on ACT Math, so if I can get a comparable score on SAT I'll be set. I think that must have just been a bad day...

Can you send a score report before a retake... and if the retake goes well send another... or is that like hiding something from them if you did bad?

I want to take it in Oct. but i dunno if I'll be prepared by then... i've taken a couple practice tests anf my score's 1890 =/
it's frustrating because you think the problems r so weird during the test and when you look at them later ur like. duhhhh

Taking it for the second and last time.

Hoping to raise my 2050 (750 W/720 CR/580 M) to a 2150 by improving 100 points on math!! :)

..numbers totally intimidate me.

2nd time and probably last. Hoping to up 2020 to 2150+
Gotta work on writing.

Huzzah for raising Math!
