Will it be too late to attach my SAT subject test scores to my college apps if I take them in October 2012? Say I want to apply to the BS/MD programs, when are the earliest of the applications due? Because I'll probably only get my scores at the end of October...

Penn State’s director told me the October test date is too late for them. But they don’t even require subject tests, so he was referring to the SAT Is.

I believe most BS/MD applications are due sometime in November. Therefore, the October test date is typically okay. However, as risubu noted, some schools have exceptions.

i know some schools, when you’re applying just for regular UG admission, you can state when you will be taking your sats or sat subjects if you haven’t finished them or want to take them one last time. that way they’ll know that you still have some scores pending and will take them into consideration once you take the tests and send the scores…if we notify the bs/md programs with early deadlines (like penn state for example) do you think we could send them our sat subject scores later on and have them look at them when reviewing our app or not?

UMiami wouldn’t take October exams either when I called to ask.
