Is taking the SAT subject tests in october too late for Penn ED?

No, they shouldn’t be too late (hopefully).

I am planning on taking Math II again in October before ED. Test results usually take about 3 weeks to be reported. We test on October first, so you should receive your scores by late October (in time for Nov. 1 deadline).

If your scores come in after you submit your application, you can still send them in to the school. They may or may not get to see the scores before reviewing your app.
