odd sleeping patterns...

<p>ive been getting such odd sleeping patterns lately. whenever i come home from school i'll stay up for a few hours and do my homework and study and relax a bit then pass out for 12 hours straight and wake up to my alarm clock the next morning.</p>

<p>then i'll feel really tired in calc (which is 2nd period ....zzzz) and i have chem 8/9 which by then i battle to stay awake. it's so weird- i get like 12 hours of sleep each day but it's like oversleeping so i still feel tired!</p>

<p>i HOPE i don't have mono...any help?</p>

<p>I do...i get sleepy doing h.w. and get knocked out by 9 at least, then i'd wake up at 11 or 12 to finish up...I could even end up finishing at 5 or 6 am....:(</p>

<p>Haha my sleeping schedule is like... 2-4 hours on week nights, up to 18(!!!) on weekends HAHAHA. Like I pulled an all nighter on Friday night (which is usually my crash night wherein I make up for a week of no sleep), so I went to take a nap at 2 PM Saturday and kiiiinda slept 'til the morning. >___></p>

<p>But likeee, yeah. My circadian rhythm wins. Slashhh loses. Hahaha.</p>

<p>1-6 am...then i try to get a good amount of sleep in classes but teachers don't understand (even though i'm usually destroying my classes).....i used to get a lot of sleep over the weekend but now that i've been drinkin consistently(every weekend) i get much less sleep on weekends than on school days.</p>

<p>12 isn't that bad.</p>

<p>I'm at anywhere from an 8~10 only, though, unfortunately since I can't afford to pull off 12~14 hours on weekdays anymore.</p>

<p>Is it healthy to get 2-4 hours of sleep on weekdays then 18 hours on the weekend?</p>

<p>Anyways, asian sensation, I don't think you're sick -- you're probably just so tired 'cause you're busy and overworked and what not. We teenagers are sleep-deprived as frick, in general. :/</p>

<p>sleep by midnight, wake up at 5 am to run 1-2 miles </p>

<p>Running in the morning really helps boosting your energy. I also drink 1-3 cups of tea after. Now I don't fall alseep in history :)</p>

<p>I learned in psych that people who are constantly tired might have sleep apnea. Hrrrm.</p>

<p>Well, even though I'm in college, I average 4 a night, any night. The weekends are worse. This is from studying and parties! But it's fun!
And it technically isn't healthy!</p>

<p>i'm also glad it's not strange, but poseur- what do you do that you get such little sleep? don't you pass out when you come home from school? O_O</p>

<p>my mom always gets mad cause she thinks i'm being lazy and procrastinating by spending most of my time in bed</p>

<p>I think I am the only person with a 3.5 that sleeps 6-9 hours a night. I feel lucky. .. And smart.</p>

<p>lol my friends always joke that i sleep from 2-7, regardless of it being day or night.</p>

<p>like am and pm. i take a nap both times and i get a total of 10 hours, but it's REALLY unhealthy and I am up doing hw for 5 hours before i go to school sometimes. of course, this isn't my daily schedule, but it often falls into that pattern</p>

<p>If I didn't procrastinate on every little thing, I would easily get as much sleep as I wanted. But I do, so I usually get 5-6 on weekdays and 10-12 on weekends (unless there is a party night in which I have to get like 14 the next day).</p>

<p>My parents seriously think there's something wrong with me because of my irregular sleep patterns! So what if I come home from school, eat, watch TV, go online, start hw around 9ish (like now), fall asleep after 2 problems of calculus, wake up with my face in my book around 2ish, and end around 6ish when I have to get ready for school, and do this everyday of the week? I love friday nights though, I sleep early and wake up laaaaate. Yea I'm really cool.</p>
