Odd thread behavior

Not a big problem or anything, but I noticed some odd behavior with this thread
<a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/1709731-where-to-go-to-college-to-make-the-most-money-for-each-major-washpost.html#latest”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/1709731-where-to-go-to-college-to-make-the-most-money-for-each-major-washpost.html#latest</a>

Usually when you click on a thread, it takes you to the most recent post that you haven’t yet viewed and it tells you how many new posts in the thread since you last visited it. Whenever I click on this one, it always takes me to the OP and it never shows the number of new posts in the thread. Is this just me or is it happening to anyone else? As I said, it’s not a problem, it’s just weird behavior. :expressionless:

It goes to the latest post when I click it.

I’ve had issues as well for the past few days. Since the last update, there is a gray box with a number. This indicates that I have viewed the thread previously. Now? No gray box. So its unclear if I have clicked in to the thread in the past or not.

I’ve also seen some inconsistencies with the behavior of those gray boxes. I usually am taken to the latest post (shown in the the URL by “#latest”) when I click a thread. However, I have never quite understood the numbers in the gray boxes, since they often seem random.

I can report this to the team, though I know the priority would be low at this point. Sorry for the inconvenience :frowning:

That’s quite alright. Thanks for the response.
