Oddity

I applied on October 31st.

On Wolverine Access, it says Application Date: 11/02/2007.

What does that mean?

What's even odder is that there are 30 days in November......Maybe you applied on October 31st??? or November 30th?

are you sure it doesnt say 12/02/2007?
if not, I think they meant that but wrote november accidently... if you want to contact them go ahead, but doesn't seem to be harmful in any way

Haha, I meant October 31st. Oops.

The point is, I applied in time for the deadline, but it shows it as after the deadline.

you are fine... You are really fine.... don't have time to explain here but you are fine, really

So, it's like, the time they open it?

(I'm not freaking out; I just want to know sooner than later)

If the date received says anything up to Nov. 10 then you are still considered Early Response.

it took them till 11/02 to process your application because they were flooded on 10/31. as earlier posters said, you're good for ER

Coolio. Thanks.

on the admissions website, it says
Please note that if you are checking the status of your application the received date reflects the date we matched the document(s) to your application file. Dates up to and including November 10 indicate that our office received your application document(s) by the October 31, 2007 deadline for Early Response notification.

so you're good.

So November 2...that's actually pretty good for me. If they work in chronological order...where are they right now in progress?

They don't work in chronological order....Read some of the posts on "decisions are in" thread...No rhyme or reason...You will hear by Dec 21st.....

Seriously, why can't people just search in the forums before asking dumb questions. You would have easily found the answer to that question if you looked for 5 minutes.
