any chance at yale (scea), harvard, columbia, tufts, virginia, georgia, bu, georgetown, northwestern, brown, vanderbilt, emory, georgia tech, florida, wash u, spelman

Ehh the rank is going to hurt honestly, but everything else looks great. In particular, “founder and president of invisible children - several other invisible children state/national initiatives (published research papers on it)” looks crazy good. I’d say you have a substantially better chance than most people of getting into H or Y or both. I wouldn’t want to bet against it.

all your stats look very good! URM also helps a lot with the top schools.

spelman - all girls hbcu in atlanta, i think its a bit of a safety!

oh, and this probably hurts - but 200 person senior class

bump bump !

i think you’re fine even at harvard, yale, and columbia.

bump. i need some realists. my rank is terrible! so i think yale scea is a big reach.

youre half black and half native american, you are what these schools want more than anything. if your recs and essays make you look good and stand out, and you can communicate significance of what youve done, you will get in anywhere

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/583276-chances-universal-rejection.html</a></p>

Wow, half black+half native= perfect URM combo.

And plus, you got strong scores. I wouldn’t be surprised if you got in everywhere, or get rejected from only 1 school (…Harvard?)

Pretty much “in” everywhere 'cept maybe Harvard, but you’ve still got a good chance there.

dude. your half black half native american. end of story.

lol but no seriously based on the little information i know about colleges i think your pretty much set. you will deff make it into at least 5 of the colleges you have up there, the rest im not entirely 100% b/c your sat’s could be at least 80 points higher. but i dont think thats even an issue. i have no doubt youll get into a good school

URM. Period.

Your race is your definite advantage over other competitors, you’re pretty solid cept for your rank which can hurt you.

Your ethnicity will no doubt play an important role in admissions along with your solid test scores and ECs. Honestly, I don’t think your class rank will hurt you that much considering all of your other provided credentials. Calling any ivy a low reach for anyone is very rare. Good luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/585610-chances-so-so-sat-scores-top-schools.html</a></p>

omg i’m jealous! you are def in… everywhere! though your rank isn’t great, i’ve have many people tell me that it isn’t as important as people make it out to be. in fact, most colleges would accept you for your unique ethincity.

bumpppp…

just Harvard is a reach for u!!in the rest u have good chances!

I would have to say match/safety for all but Harvard and Yale. You def have the qualifications, but I hear admission there is a bit like Russian Roulette. Also, I know Wash U has a LOT of applicants, but if I had to put my money on it, I’d say your in.

If I were an Ivy admissions guy, I’d definitely accept you :)
