Ode to the joys of owning a car.

So today, I got out of school and walked with one of my friends to the parking lot (I was going to drive her home).

Put the key in, turn it.

CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK.

Freeze.

What just happened?

Try again.

CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK.

Look over at my friend.

Friend: "Maybe you should call your mom."

Long story short: My battery had died. Called my mom, then Triple A. They came and jumped my car.

My adventure of the day. Woooooo.

Lol. My car door was frozen shut yesterday at school. As were half of the cars in the parking lot. So all you see is a couple thousand students fighting with their cars.

Ahh... lol.

Ah, the joys of owning a bike. ;)

Alex

ah the joys of living in the city...SUBWAY! lol

Ah, the joys of not having a license yet and having my parents drive me places!

second kaznack. but getting my license mon, and still wont be able to get a car

Getting my license monday (about a year too late) and will hopefully have a car by the end of march. hooray!

i have had my license since november, but i wont have a car until like late march, so i use my dads on weekends. eh.

Second the nod to NYC public transportation :]

That being said, I'm still getting my license next summer.

Haha, don't feel bad. I got mine on my 17th bday lol.

Don't plan on getting my license until I'm about 18. It's pointless to try now since I don't have my permit yet (I'm 17), and it'll take a whole year to get my license anyway. Oh well. Driving doesn't seem like that big of a deal, I wouldn't have a car anyway.

I love my little car so very much.

I <3 my car too.. The only time I had a freak out moment was the first time was wheel jammed. I was leaving my brothers basketball game and put my key in and couldn't turn it. I freaked, called my mom, talked to my stepdad. It was jammed so hard I couldn't turn it. I was flippin out.. Ended up getting a bus driver to come unjam it for me.. I was shaken up. Now when it happens I know what to do tho. So it's all good!

yes it was 60 degrees here today. I love winters in the Southwest... mianly b/c there arent any.

Ode to the joys of owning a 2005 Lexus.

haha frozen cars? lmao...I'm glad I live in LA. I have a 2006 Civic and it's pretty much L337. 30/40 EPA fuel efficiency...can't beat that without driving some homotional hybrid

Try having your gears on a manual frozen. Have to force it into the gears....which probably isn't too good for the car..

The joys of having a license...but no car.
Ah well, walking/jogging with my iPod is nice enough.

Ode to the joys of owning a 1992 Honda Accord. The transmission slips and the fastest it's gone in a while is 45mph. I've had my license for 2 years yay.
