I'm seriously considering living in Odum Village next year as a sophomore. I have sophomore status already, so I'm not worrying about being able to get a spot. I ended up without a roommate this semester, and I don't know if I can go back to living in a double...

I know Odum is far away, but any off campus apartment probably wouldn't be any closer, and the buses are good in the area. I also want to cook a lot more, and I love the idea of having my own kitchen and a living area. I've heard some people love it, and some people hate it (because of location?). I'm not looking for super social, as I never really met people in the two dorms I lived in this year.

More than anything I'm wary about the distance, but I'm desperate for a single (and a private bedroom in a 2br 1 bath apt is less than a single in a dorm - with a kitchen and living space!).

Any input? I'm stressing out because I have to decide by Thursday and maybe (hopefully) find an apartment mate by then as well! I think random would be fine, but I would rather live with someone I know.
